SkyREM Acquires 548,465 SF Industrial Facility at Logistics Park Kansas City

New York, NY, (July 15, 2025) – SkyREM is pleased to announce the acquisition of a 548,465 square foot, Class A distribution facility located at 19351 Montrose Street, Edgerton, KS, within Logistics Park Kansas City (LPKC). This premier asset is fully leased to Smart Warehousing, LLC under a new long term lease.

Strategically positioned adjacent to BNSF’s Intermodal Facility, one of the three largest intermodal hubs in the U.S., LPKC is among the most important logistics parks in the Midwest. With direct access to I-35 and proximity to both coasts, the intermodal offers tenants efficient national and international shipping capabilities and seamless supply chain integration.

Built in 2016, the cross-dock facility features 36’ clear heights, 54 dock doors, 4 drive-in doors, 197 car parking spaces, 44 trailer spaces, and 14,398 SF of cold storage. The concrete tilt-up building features ESFR sprinklers, LED lighting, two 1,600-amp electrical services, and robust utility infrastructure, all optimized for modern logistics operations.

The facility is 100% leased to Smart Warehousing, a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider operating over 12 million square feet across more than 30 facilities nationwide. The tenant’s clients include e-commerce, healthcare, industrial, and retail related businesses. Smart Warehousing is well-positioned to capitalize on accelerating trends in fulfillment and omnichannel logistics.
